Bone Endpoint select mode is used to select individual endpoints of bones in an armature. A bone endpoint is a position in space defining one end of a jointed articulation. Bones which are connected behave as though they share an endpoint, and the shared endpoints will be selected and moved together as a single unit. When in Bone Endpoint select mode, bone endpoints are hit detected in a circular radius around their onscreen position, prioritized by their proximity to the cursor. Bone endpoint hit detection is not affected by mesh geometry. [link=selection_peeling]Selection peeling[/link] can be used to assist with selecting a specific bone endpoint when bones are visually overlapping. Clicking the [!keybind]left mouse button when a bone endpoint is moused over will deselect all other bone endpoints and select that bone endpoint. Holding the [!keybind]Shift key will toggle the selected status of the moused over bone endpoint. Pressing the [!keybind]Tab key in Bone Endpoint select mode will cycle through all bone endpoints in the armature in numerical order. Holding the [!keybind]Shift key will cycle in reverse.
