The Pivot and Anchor are a pair of arbitrary points and directions in 3D space that can be used to control the behavior of several operations. They are hidden by default, but can be shown (and re-hidden) with View → Show/Hide → Pivot/Anchor. The Pivot direction can be used with the [link]Manipulator to define an arbitrary axis of movement. In the [link]Properties Panel, set the Manipulator's Relativity to Pivot, or use the Manipulator Pivot Mode keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Space). The following operations can use the Pivot and/or Anchor points to modify their behavior: • [link]Translate • [link]Rotate • [link]Scale • [link]Fit to Curve • [link]Vertex Anchor to Pivot • [link]Bone Anchor to Pivot • [link]Pose Bone Anchor to Pivot
