[insert=menu_location:mesh.insert_cylinder] [insert=menu_shortcut:mesh.insert_quick_menu], Y Creates a new cylinder in the mesh, allowing it to be sized and placed as desired. By default, the cylinder has a radius of 1, a length of 2, and 8 subdivisions, oriented on the Y axis and centered at the origin of the coordinate space. The number of subdivisions can be adjusted with the \[ and \] keys or the mouse scroll wheel. The orientation of the cylinder can be changed with Alt+X, Alt+Y, Alt+Z, and Alt+P, for X, Y, Z, and [link=pivot_anchor]pivot[/link] axes, respectively. Mouse movement, arrow keys, and number input will adjust the cylinder's position, radius, or length, depending on adjustment mode. The R key switches to radius adjustment mode; the L key switches to length adjustment mode; and the G key switches to position adjustment mode. All other controls are the same as the [link=operation_translate]Translate[/link] operation.
