Each overlay image can either be visible from all angles, or only visible from a specific camera angle. The Image Overlays window is used to add, remove, or edit image overlays. Global controls: [list-] [*]Alpha: Overall opacity of all image overlays. [*]Add: Click to browse for an image file on disk, to be added to the document as a new image overlay. [*]Show: Global toggle for image overlay visibility. Individual image overlays can also be hidden separately from the others. [*]Draw in Front: If checked, image overlays will be drawn on top of model geometry. If unchecked, model geometry will be drawn on top of image overlays. [/list] Each overlay image also has its own set of controls: [list-] [*]Visible: Whether to show or hide the image. Both Show and Visible checkboxes must be checked for an overlay to be visible. [*]Set: Defines the geometry view's current camera angle as the exclusive viewing angle for the image. After setting a camera angle, the overlay will be automatically hidden when the model is viewed from any other camera angle. [*]Clear: Unbinds the overlay from a previously established camera angle, allowing it to be seen from all angles. [*]Show: Reorients the geometry view's camera to the overlay's camera angle. [*]Ratio: Aspect ratio of the image, relative to its base width. [*]Rotation: Angle of image rotation in degrees, relative to its center. Positive values rotate counterclockwise. [*]X: Horizontal offset of the image, in world units from the origin. [*]Y: Vertical offset of the image, in world units from the origin. [*]Flip X: Adjusts the overlay's ratio setting to flip the image horizontally while otherwise preserving its current transformation. [*]Flip Y: Adjusts the overlay's rotation and ratio settings to flip it vertically while otherwise preserving its current transformation. [*]Replace: Prompts for a file to replace the current image with a different file from disk, while preserving all of its attributes. [*]Remove: Deletes the image overlay from the document. [*]Nearest Neighbor: Determines filter mode used when drawing the image. Check for crisp, rectangular pixels; leave unchecked for smoothing. [*]Flipped: Determines whether the image file containing the overlay has a coordinate system starting at the bottom or the top.
